AUBURN, Ala. - Fall Friday nights in Auburn call for good food, live music, and of course the Auburn family. Every Friday from 6-9 p.m. before an Auburn home football game, the Auburn Downtown Merchants Association hosts Come Home to the Corner in the downtown area.

Come Home to the Corner is an opportunity for fans of all ages to tailgate together at Toomer’s Corner. With the first game of the season against Tulane this past Saturday, fans were excited to get their first taste of the fall football season.

Merchants in the downtown area participate in the event by lengthening their hours or even offering specials. Come Home to the Corner also offers different live music entertainment each week right outside of Toomer’s Drug Store. This week's entertainment was a local 90’s cover band, Teich Street.

Come Home to the Corner began in August of 2015 to highlight the reopening of the College and Magnolia Street intersection after three months of renovation. This new Auburn tradition has grown ever since and fans continue to enjoy all that downtown has to offer on gameday weekend.

Come Home to the Corner will be back Friday, September 13th 6-9 p.m. for the Auburn homecoming game against Kent State.
